SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM: Entire New York City Live Set Posted Online

April 18, 2007

Live footage of Oakland, CA "Rock Against Rock" pioneers SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM's recent sold-out show at New York City's prestigious Bowery Ballroom is now available for download online. The performance, which received glowing media praise, was filmed on March 15, 2007 and can be viewed online at this location.

SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM has set a May 29, 2007 release date for its eagerly anticipated new release, entitled "In Glorious Times". The album will drop via cutting-edge Brooklyn, NY music label The End Records.

SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM (SGM) is a wildly unique quintet whose adventurous musical drive is equaled only by their individualistic instrumentation (the band uses many homemade devices as instruments) and idiosyncratic live performances, which are known to include furious avant-prog/rock, expressive theatrics, pseudo-scientific scholarly presentations and notable collaborations. In creating "In Glorious Times", SGM once again imbedded themselves deep in the creative process, hovering within the intricate stylings of musical evolution, the expansive world of literature and the pain and the passion of human emotion, allowing themselves to reach new plateaus on the forthcoming album.

The final track listing for "In Glorious Times" is as follows:

01. The Companions
02. Helpless Corpses Enactment
03. Puppet Show
04. Formicary
05. Angle of Repose
06. Ossuary
07. The Salt Crown
08. The Only Dance
09. The Greenless Wreath
10. The Widening Eye
11. The Putrid Refrain

An MP3 of the brand new SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM track "Helpless Corpses Enactment" has been posted online and can be heard at this location. A video for the song is currently in post production and should be officially released in the coming weeks.

SLEEPYTIME GORILLA MUSEUM, who recently wrapped a sold-out North American tour alongside co-headliners SECRET CHIEFS 3 to rave reviews, has announced world tour dates in support of "In Glorious Times". A complete list can be found at this location.
